In der „Editor's note - April 3, 2026 update“ auf derselben Seite (Wortlaut geprüft, True) schreibt Microsoft: „As an update to our earlier announcement, local inferencing will be delivered at a regional level for countries in the European Union (EU) and European Free Trade Association (EFTA), aligned with our commitments under the EU Data Boundary.“ Bis Ende 2026 sind demnach nur Australien, Indien, VAE, Großbritannien und die USA vorgesehen. heise.de (Nov. 2025) hatte für deutsche Nutzer noch eine Verarbeitung „ausschließlich in deutschen Rechenzentren“ ab Ende 2026 gemeldet.
